Who We Are

The original Village Inn Pizza opened its doors in 1968 on Grand Ave, boasting its distinctive A-frame building and renowned scratch-made thin-crust pizza. In 2023, the pizzeria changed hands to the Smith and Solheim Families. Even with the move to Central Avenue, the family was committed to preserving the interior’s authenticity and maintaining Village Inn’s nostalgic charm. Step into the dining room and you’ll find the original tables, chairs, wall decor, and lead glass light fixtures. They were even able to find a new home for the iconic front door! In the kitchen, you’ll find the original 1968 mixer—one of only two left in the nation—along with the pizza oven from the Grand Avenue location.
